Global Health trip to Ghana
In collaboration with the faculty at Ho Hospital in Ghana, we have established an additional fellowship program to train fellows in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) and to educate residents in gynecologic surgery. Recognizing that teaching a skill is more impactful than performing a task on someone’s behalf is essential. This initiative marks the beginning of a self-sustaining, self-reliant FPMRS teaching program in Ho—the fourth such fellowship in Ghana.
The primary goal of this trip is to enhance current trainees' surgical skills and expand their knowledge of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
