Trip to Honduras
Honduras Medical Mission: Restoring Health, Dignity, and Hope
We recently returned from an incredibly rewarding medical mission to Honduras, where we spent an intensive week providing much-needed surgical care to women suffering from complex pelvic floor disorders.
During our visit, we performed numerous complex female pelvic reconstructive surgeries, helping women who had endured years of discomfort, urinary incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. For many, access to specialized surgical treatment had been limited or simply unavailable.
It was deeply moving to witness the relief, gratitude, and renewed hope of women who had waited so long for treatment. These surgeries do more than address physical symptoms—they help restore dignity, confidence, independence, and quality of life.
Our mission also reinforced the importance of expanding access to specialized women's healthcare in underserved communities. Through continued collaboration with local healthcare professionals, we hope to make a lasting difference in the lives of women in Honduras.
Every surgery represents more than a medical procedure—it is an opportunity to transform a woman's life.
