Jeffrey S. Freed, MDDr. Freed is a surgeon at Mount Sinai in New York City and a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine. He graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical School and brings over 43 years of diverse surgical experience. For more than 20 years, Dr. Freed has also led international efforts in Liberia, Honduras, and Bolivia, training residents and medical students in surgical practice.

Dr. Soo Kwon, MDDr. Kwon is a highly respected physician who has dedicated her career to women’s health. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati, followed by a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Board-certified in both specialties, Dr. Kwon has served as Division Director of Female Pelvic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and at Lenox Hill Hospital/Northwell in New York City. She has also worked internationally, training physicians and performing surgeries throughout Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
She has now chosen to devote herself full-time to caring for women in underserved countries, bringing her expertise to communities with the greatest need.
